About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy.
- Operating specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Assessing patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, and documenting outcomes.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Educating patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management.
- Maintaining a safe environment and adhering to regulatory standards.
- Participating in quality assurance and professional development activities.
- Assisting in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions.
Requirements
- Valid physical therapy license and current BLS certification.
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Physical ability to move and operate equipment.
- Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use.
- Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail.
