About the Role
A Travel Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions through evaluations and clinical examinations
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment and participate in quality assurance
- Support discharge planning for continued patient recovery
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move, lift, and assist with equipment
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and reading/comprehension abilities
