Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy
• Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Assess patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe environment following infection control and safety standards
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions
• Perform additional duties within scope of practice as needed

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, and maintain attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• Experience in clinical settings; new grads are welcome
