About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel role in a healthcare facility. This role involves evaluating, treating, and educating patients to promote recovery and independence, requiring clinical expertise, effective communication, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients’ physical conditions through assessments and history
• Developing personalized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Implementing treatment techniques using various modalities and equipment
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans, and documenting outcomes
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-care
• Maintaining a safe environment and adhering to safety protocols
• Participating in quality improvement and professional development
• Assisting in discharge planning for continued recovery

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in English and PC skills
• Physical ability to lift, move equipment, and perform manual tasks
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients
• Ability to handle frequent contact with the public and work under pressure
• Visual acuity and sensory communication skills
