Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions through assessments and clinical exams
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Operate specialized therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Maintain safety standards and participate in quality improvement activities
- Assist in discharge planning to support ongoing recovery
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility
- Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients
- Proficiency in documentation and basic computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain attention to detail
