Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel position focused on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients' physical conditions through tests and examinations
• Developing and implementing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Utilizing various techniques and equipment to improve mobility and alleviate pain
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintaining safety standards and documentation, participating in quality initiatives, and discharge planning

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid state licensed Physical Therapy license
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, move equipment, and assist patients
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively
