About the Role

A skilled Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Use various techniques and equipment safely to enhance patient outcomes
• Monitor progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain safety standards and participate in quality improvement activities
• Contribute to discharge planning and community reintegration

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and move equipment
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients
• Proficiency in documentation, technical, and motor skills
• Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, and maintain attention to detail
