Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients using tests, examinations, and history to identify treatment needs
• Creating and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans
• Using various techniques and equipment to improve patient outcomes
• Monitoring progress, adjusting treatments, and documenting outcomes
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintaining safety standards and participating in quality improvement activities
• Supporting discharge planning and other assigned duties

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license and BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in PC use and understanding written/verbal instructions
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle pressure
• Good visual and sensory skills for effective communication and treatment
