About the role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. The role involves creating personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients using clinical tests and patient history
- Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapy techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Operate therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care
- Educate patients on exercises, safety, and injury prevention
- Maintain safety and infection control standards
- Engage in professional development and quality assurance
- Assist in discharge planning for seamless patient transitions
Requirements
- Valid physical therapy license
- Current BLS certification
- Doctorate degree preferred
- Experience is valued, but new graduates are welcome
- Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Physical abilities include lifting, bending, and moving equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate professionalism
