American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a day shift schedule of 8 hours, 5 days a week, and 40 hours per week.
Assignment Overview
The assignment is in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, with a day shift schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. The facility uses Epic EMR, and there may be a float requirement to other facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Active PT license required for consideration
- BLS certification required; non-AHA certifications are accepted but AHA-equivalent must be completed prior to start
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
Personal device usage, including AirPods, laptops, and cell phones, is prohibited on the unit. Candidates who reside within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate. Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions. Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration. RTO should be kept to a minimum; approximately 3–4 days per 13-week contract is considered reasonable, though final approval is at the manager's discretion.
