About the role
HCS 247 is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Taos, New Mexico starting July 27, 2026. The position is a 40-hour per week, 8-hour shift day assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a variety of settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
- Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Current state license to practice physical therapy
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- No new graduates
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping

Pay
- Compensation packages include aggressive rates and maximum subsidies for lodging, meals and incidentals, and travel expenses
- Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
