Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics - $2,038 per week

About the role

Join a dynamic and fun team at a larger clinic in Fox Lake, IL, staffed with 7 full-time equivalents (FTEs). The clinic serves a varied patient population, including those with lower-level functions, athletic individuals, and workers' compensation cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care as a Physical Therapist
• Manage a patient load of 48-50 patients per week with 60-minute evaluations
• Engage with a diverse clientele including outpatient orthopedics, post-operative patients, workers' compensation, and Medicare populations
• Document patient care through the NextGen system
• Collaborate with 2 front office staff members and aides for operational efficiency
• Utilize generative AI technology that helps produce compliant clinical documentation in real-time

Qualifications

• Prior outpatient orthopedic experience is required
• New graduates will not be considered for this position

Schedule

• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Flexible schedule options include 5x8s or 4x10s (to be discussed)
• Evening coverage required at least two nights per week
• Clinic hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Friday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
