About the role

The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient orthopedic care in Cherrydale, SC, focusing on evaluating and treating patients to enhance their recovery and return to daily activities. This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 8-hour day shifts, 36 hours guaranteed, with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week. The therapist will see approximately 12-14 patients per day with an expected productivity of 60 visits per week. Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected to maintain productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement and monitor therapy interventions based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Adhere to productivity expectations as outlined by the facility.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred.
• Not accepting Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) or new graduates for this position.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
