About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Elkton, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of patients in an outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
- Performing therapeutic exercises and treatments under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Assessing patient progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly
- Documenting patient care in accordance with InSync EMR
Requirements
- Active PT license required for the state of Maryland; compact license accepted to start, but full state license must be obtained during the assignment
- SSN required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
- Experience with InSync EMR preferred
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
