Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,627 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Damariscotta, Maine. The position is an outpatient rehabilitation role requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience. Local candidates are welcome to apply, though they are not eligible for renewals or extensions. Candidates located within 90 miles of any facility within the healthcare system will be considered local. Returning employees who have worked at any facility within the healthcare system in the past 12 months should indicate this during the application process. Requested time off should be minimal, with 3‑4 days considered reasonable for a 13‑week contract at the discretion of the manager. Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient rehabilitation services
- Work day shift hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5×8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week)
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
- Adhere to float policy of up to 25 miles between facilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Valid license (if applicable)
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required

Pay
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
