Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,627 per week

Assignment Overview

Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist position in Mount Airy, North Carolina. The assignment is 12 weeks long, starting 19 October 2026, with a full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week (8‑hour days, Monday‑Friday).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and document care.
• Treat a variety of conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and pediatric cases.
• Float within the hospital as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient Physical Therapy experience.
• BLS certification.
• Current state Physical Therapy license (if applicable).
• Meditech EMR experience (required).
• Copy of current Nursys report (pulled within the last 7 days).
• Two professional references from a supervisor (completed within the last 2 years).
• Date of birth and Social Security Number required at time of consideration.
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, or inpatient rehab experience preferred.

Additional Information

• Completion of required labs within 48–72 hours of contract signing.
• Previous staff or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months and be in good standing to be eligible for return.
• No mileage restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Open to first‑time travelers.

Pay
