About the Role
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient position in Sioux City, Iowa.
Assignment Overview
- Shift: Days, 5x8hrs
- Hours: 40 hrs/wk
- Start Date: Aug 17, 2026

Responsibilities
- Outpatient physical therapy setting treating deconditioned, post-op, and post-hospitalization patients
- Epic EMR is used; experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Active Iowa state PT license required at time of consideration; Iowa compact license accepted — license required if applicable
- Active BLS (AHA) certification required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Completed skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration
- New orientation cohorts begin every Monday
Additional Information
- Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
- Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
- At least 1 prior travel contract completed is preferred
- Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
- RTO during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods is limited to 1 day per window
