Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient-focused position requiring a Virginia PT license and a DPT or Master's degree, with experience in both outpatient and acute care settings.

Work Setting & Schedule Details

• Primarily outpatient clinic setting, with additional acute care coverage
• Monthly weekend coverage takes place in the acute care setting
• Standard schedule is 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; 4x10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with one rotating day off) available by request
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Responsibilities span both outpatient therapy and acute care, with the primary focus on outpatient treatment
• Weekend coverage (once per month) is required in the acute care setting
• May be required to work one holiday during the 13-week contract, on a rotating basis with permanent staff

Requirements

• Virginia Physical Therapy license required; does not need to be in hand at time of offer — candidates may apply immediately upon offer
• DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum experience in both outpatient clinic and acute care settings required
• License required if applicable
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
