About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, in Oakland, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in long-term care facilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient conditions and progress, and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in California.
- At least one year of experience in long-term care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care physical therapy protocols and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Skills

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment is intended for informational purposes and includes hourly wages, as well as reimbursements for meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.
Schedule
Days schedule, 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
