About the role
A travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapist position is available in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a LTC/SNF setting
- Work 40 hours per week on a 8-hour shift
- Perform physical therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assess patients' physical condition and develop treatment plans
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Illinois
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
Skills
- Proficient in using medical software and equipment
- Experience with fall prevention and mobility training
- Knowledge of assistive devices and adaptive equipment

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are typically 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
