Description
Inpatient rehabilitation facility with 41 beds, located near the main hospital campus
Physical therapy department with an estimated 15-20 therapy staff daily across PT, OT, and SLP disciplines
Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Every other weekend is required
Clinicians carry up to a 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift
Each patient has a 3-hour daily therapy requirement; clinicians are responsible for tracking treatment time and charges
Equipment includes ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital sign machines
EMR: Meditech Magic
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of recent acute care PT experience required; experience must be within the last 6 months
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
- Neuro certification or neuro experience preferred
- Familiarity with ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, and gym equipment
