Travel Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab Job

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehab patients.
• Deliver evidence-based PT interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, gait, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor progress, reassess goals, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in the patient record.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and home exercise programs; coordinate discharge planning with the care team.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize functional recovery and minimize risk of complications.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and complete required documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in physical therapy, preferably in inpatient rehabilitation or a closely related setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Ability to work Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., in an inpatient rehab environment.
• Willingness to participate in a 26-week travel assignment in Granbury, Texas.
• Current eligibility or licensure considerations to practice PT as required by state regulations.

This travel assignment starts July 27, 2026, and runs for a 26-week contract. Expect daytime, 5x8 shifts (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) with a weekly pay range of $2,434 to $2,667. The role is focused on inpatient rehabilitation within a hospital setting, providing patient-centered care to adults and ensuring safe transfer and functional recovery.
