Travel Physical Therapist, Inpatient Rehab

About the role

Travel Physical Therapist providing patient evaluations, developing and implementing plans of care, and modifying treatments as needed in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee therapy support staff
• Ensure billing compliance
• Adhere to state PT regulations
• Collaborate with medical personnel
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Utilize medical documentation systems
• Deliver timely, accurate documentation
• Supervise PTAs and support staff
• Handle billing and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred)
• BLS certification
• State‑specific licensure
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and support long periods of activity
• May require additional certifications

Schedule

8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
