Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,587 per week
About the role
Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a short-term acute care hospital. Day shift schedule, 5×8 hours (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), 40 hours per week. Assignment starts November 23, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Patient ratio is 1:1. Weekend shifts required (either Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday depending on department needs). May float between units and sister facilities as needed. No on‑call requirements. Charting in Epic.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation for inpatient rehab patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery goals
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
- BLS certification
- Compact state license in hand at submission
- Epic charting experience
- Experience with inpatient rehab patient populations including orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Skilled in patient assessment, adaptive devices, gait training, and therapeutic exercise
- Experience with equipment such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, walkers, and specialty beds
- Strong documentation and time‑management skills

Pay
Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
