Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,326 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a GA state license and Cerner proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Treat patients with orthopedic post-op cases (cervical surgery, shoulder repair, spinal surgery, total hip and knee replacement)
• Treat patients with neurological conditions (MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI)
• Treat patients with spine/cervical pain conditions
• Follow a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with one weekend per month float requirement
• Chart patient progress in Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in acute care required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Georgia state PT license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Proficiency in body mechanics and treatment of orthopedic, neurological, and spinal conditions required

Qualifications

• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with one weekend per month float requirement.
