Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,178 per week

About the role

The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive patient care assessment and treatment in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role requires expertise in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation, as well as experience in evaluating and designing effective rehabilitation plans to promote patient mobility and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and assessments to determine patient deficits and rehabilitation plans.
• Document treatment progress and adjust plans as necessary to maximize patient benefit.
• Facilitate patient mobility skills and manage equipment utilized in treatments.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and ongoing care at home.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement intervention programs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with documentation standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Current North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy License.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
