Travel Physical Therapist Inpatient - $2,505 per week

About the role

Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) at Culbertson Memorial Hospital, a critical access hospital in west central Illinois, joining an interdisciplinary therapy team. This role evaluates, plans, and administers physical therapy treatments to restore function across pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a rural setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician
• Assist patients in reaching maximum performance levels
• Coordinate care and supervise support staff
• Ensure accurate patient charge entry
• Participate in infection control, safety, and departmental training programs

Requirements

• Current Illinois State Physical Therapy Licensure
• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy
• Current BCLS (CPR) certification
• Ability to read, communicate effectively in English, and demonstrate strong written and verbal skills
• Basic computer knowledge and understanding of physical medicine, modalities, anatomy, and physiology

Schedule

• Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Start date: 09/14/2026; End date: 02/01/2027
