About the role
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Inpatient for a facility located in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy in a unit specializing in neuro, orthopedic, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other modalities. The position offers an engaging environment with advanced equipment, supportive staff, and a focus on patient mobility and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy in a specialized unit.
Schedule
- Days, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends.
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Valid certification in Physical Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Outpatient or inpatient therapy experience.
- Recent certification or training in Care Tool.
- Ability to work full-time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with neuro, ortho, TBI, SCI, and other modalities.
- Familiarity with advanced equipment such as portable lifts, FES, and Bioness devices.
