About the role
We are seeking a travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervising PTAs and support staff
- Billing in accordance with facility guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with state-specific PT regulations
- Collaborating with medical personnel and physicians to coordinate patient care
- Assessing and modifying plans of care based on patient progress
- Utilizing medical documentation systems accurately and promptly
- Understanding adaptive equipment and medical terminology
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply
- Current BLS certification
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Additional certifications may be needed prior to start
Schedule
The role involves working 8‑hour day shifts, with a focus on providing quality patient care and team collaboration.
