Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health - $2,517 per week

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment in Silver Springs, Maryland. This role requires at least 1 year of home health experience and an active Maryland PT state license.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel assignment in a home health setting, covering Montgomery and upper Prince George's county areas. The position involves working with an adult patient population, averaging 6-7 visits per day.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Block scheduling accommodated

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in a home health setting
• Manage a caseload of approximately 6-7 visits per day
• Experience with cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and orthopedic patient populations preferred
• Utilize HCHB charting system (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
• Active Maryland PT state license required
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must be willing to float within scope of practice
• Two supervisor references required for consideration
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year
• Must be nicotine-free (tobacco-free facility; positive nicotine screen will result in cancellation)
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate with no mile radius rule
