About the role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a travel assignment focused on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments. The role involves developing personalized treatment plans, implementing therapy techniques, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions through examinations and history
• Design and execute evidence-based rehabilitation programs
• Utilize specialized equipment and modalities safely
• Monitor progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory standards are maintained
• Participate in discharge planning and quality improvement activities
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Skills

• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Physical ability to perform manual therapy and lift equipment (50-100 lbs)
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams
• Proficiency in documentation, PC skills, and understanding of treatment modalities
