Travel Physical Therapist - Full-Time

Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapist in a home health/hospice setting. Open to first-time travelers and capable of working independently within federal and state regulations. Emphasizes delivering quality care and ensuring regulatory compliance in a supportive environment. Uses McKesson for documentation and involves collaborative team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services
• Perform comprehensive OASIS assessments
• Develop and implement plans of care
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise PTAs and students
• Ensure documentation for billing and compliance
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct patient evaluations
• Deliver treatment
• Coordinate patient care
• Complete documentation
• Assist with patient discharges and transfers

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Proficiency with OASIS assessments
• Knowledge of APTA guidelines
• Ability to supervise staff
• Skilled in patient assessments and procedures such as wound care and staple removal
• Licensure as required

Schedule

40-hour workweek with a weekday schedule that includes some weekend days.
