TRAVEL- Physical Therapist

Location: Medical City Denton, 3535 South I-35 East, Denton, Texas 76210

About the Unit

• 205-bed level II trauma center
• Staff: 20 Physical Therapists, 12 Occupational Therapists
• Day Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient load: 12 patients per day
• Equipment: Standard for rehabilitation services
• EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

• Standard mobility and ADL-focused procedures

Requirements

• Acute care experience, including clinical rotations while in school (required)
• Experience with complex trauma and complex neuro patients (preferred)
• High level of accountability and autonomous ability
• Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas

Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Must cover one Saturday or Sunday shift every week while on contract
• Floats to all areas of the hospital
• Dress code: Hunter green scrubs
