Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - SNF/LTC - $1,706 per week

About the role

This is a contract position for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the specialty area of SNF / LTC. The role requires 40 hours per week, 5x8 days schedule.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into job performance.
• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises, treatments, and activities of daily living.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• SNF / LTC experience required.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license within the state of practice.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or in the immediate process of obtaining Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure in the state of MD.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8.0 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
