Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - SNF/LTC - $1,704 per week

About the role

This is a contract position for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) specializing in SNF / LTC. The role requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a 5x8 Days schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assuming responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into job performance.
• Providing care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assisting in patient care activities such as positioning, turning, and transferring patients.
• Administering treatments as prescribed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Documenting patient progress and communicating with other healthcare team members.

Requirements

• 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• SNF / LTC experience required.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license within the state of practice.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or in the immediate process of obtaining Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure in the state of ME.

Skills

• Knowledge of patient care protocols and procedures.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8.0 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
