Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care
- Perform routine tasks such as preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with mobility, and maintaining equipment
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Completion of a recognized physical therapy assistant program
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations
- Flexibility to travel to various locations within the United States
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
