Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health - $1,189 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home therapy services under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists in Mesa County, CO. This is a 13-week travel contract position with flexible scheduling, offering the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while helping them improve mobility, safety, and quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services in patient homes.
• Carry out established treatment plans involving therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility intervention.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress and changes to supervising PT.
• Encourage patient participation and reinforce goals.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in EMR.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, caregivers, and other care team members.

Requirements

• Current Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt professionally in a home-based setting.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
