Travel Physical Therapist Assistant, Acute Care Hospital - $1,435 per week

About the role

Zack Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The position is a 5x8 days, 06:00:00-14:00:00 shift, 8.00-5, and is expected to last 13 weeks starting August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements

• Current state or equivalent compact license
• At least 2 years of recent PTA experience
• Active or pending state license as an PTA
• Current BLS and/or Specialty Certifications for PTA
• 2 current leadership references, 1 current co-worker

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be able to pass background/urine drug screening.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
