Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,648 per week

About the role

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting on July 27, 2026, in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans based on the physical therapist's prescription.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patient mobility and strength.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a SNF setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through physical therapy.

Skills

• Proficiency in performing manual therapy techniques.
• Knowledge of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
