Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,648 per week
About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting on July 27, 2026, in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans based on the physical therapist's prescription.
- Perform therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patient mobility and strength.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active State License to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a SNF setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes through physical therapy.
Skills
- Proficiency in performing manual therapy techniques.
- Knowledge of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
