About the role
Care Team Solutions is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of recent Allied Health experience in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Proficient computer skills
