Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Rockville, Maryland. Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant. Discipline: Therapy. Start Date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment Type: Travel. You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The assignment is in a skilled nursing facility setting. Rockville offers access to both urban convenience and outdoor recreation. Rock Creek Regional Park is about 6 miles away and includes Lake Needwood with trails and boating options. Downtown Rockville and Rockville Town Square provide restaurants, shops, and community events, while the Rockville Metro station offers Red Line access to Washington, D.C. in about 30 to 40 minutes. For weekend exploration, Great Falls Park is roughly 20 miles away and the Smithsonian museums on the National Mall are within a typical 45‑minute drive or transit trip.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness.
- Help patients move better, feel better, and stay active.
- Provide therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
