Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,520 per week
About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Franklin, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve physical function and mobility.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active State License to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in Physical Therapy.
- A current active state license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipment.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.
