About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 12-week assignment starting ASAP in Pomeroy, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
