Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,440 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in North Carolina.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a SNF setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organization skills.
• Proficient in computer systems used for patient documentation.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 35 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal and incidental expenses, and housing expenses.

Schedule

The shift is 12 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
