About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Santa Clara, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their physical function.
- Help patients prepare for and assist with physical therapy treatments.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Two years of relevant experience
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (if applicable)
- Pass a background check
