Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,289 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract position in Naples, Florida. This is an outpatient assignment with a flexible 12-hour shift schedule and 36 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in carrying out therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
• Train patients in locomotion using assistive devices and demonstrate proper techniques.
• Utilize various modalities, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient responses and intervene as necessary to optimize care.
• Document patient progress and educate patients and families on care practices.
• Maintain clean treatment areas and comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.
• Participate in team conferences and special projects aimed at improving patient care.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active applicable license for the state where work will be performed.
