About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 16-week travel assignment in an Acute Care Hospital setting in Kingman, Arizona. The role requires 1+ year of experience and BLS certification.

• Acute care hospital setting providing one-on-one patient care
• Caseload of approximately 50 patients per week
• Typical treatment sessions last 45 minutes, one-on-one with the therapist
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, Thursday through Monday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Uses Meditech for charting
• Holiday coverage is required during the assignment

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning
• Documentation of long and short-term goals
• Orientation includes non-billable modules
• Minimize RTO (request time off) and submit at time of application

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• State license required, if applicable
• Meditech charting experience highly preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio experience preferred
• Experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II settings preferred

Additional Information

• Travel pairs are accepted
• Both local candidates and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
