Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital - $2,566 per week

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting in Glendive, Montana.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: 10/02/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
• Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends
• No on-call requirements
• May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
• Uses Cerner charting system for hospital documentation and PCC for LTC
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
• No RTO permitted during first two weeks due to orientation; RTO limited to one week thereafter
• Travel pairs accepted

Facility Details

• Acute Care Hospital with 24-hour emergency care and full medical/surgical services
• Attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility
• Level IV trauma center with 25 staffed beds
• Both inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Any scrub color accepted per facility dress code policy

Responsibilities

• Evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation across acute care and outpatient settings
• Treats orthopedic and neurologic conditions including joint replacements, spinal conditions, and stroke/TBI recovery
• Utilizes modalities such as e-stim, TENS, ultrasound, traction, and hydrotherapy
• Experience with orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, geriatric, and wound care patient populations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• State License required if applicable; compact license accepted
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Cerner charting experience preferred
