Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care

About the role

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist responsible for patient evaluation, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supporting inpatient rehabilitation and acute care units.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients
• Utilizing electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
• Providing skilled therapy care, including gait training, pain assessment, and use of assistive devices
• Participating in weekend rotations
• Floating within hospital units
• Adhering to scheduling and RTO policies

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Valid Oregon license or license eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years' experience, especially in acute care settings

Skills

• Proficiency in Epic charting
• Acute care techniques
• Patient assessment
• Equipment handling
• Body mechanics

Certifications

• BLS
• Specialty-relevant certifications as applicable
• Current CNA license in hand

Requirements

• Compliance with travel policies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment
