Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $3,117 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel contract in SOUTH HILL, VA. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a PT setting. Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: 09/07/2026 Shift: 5x8 Days

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a variety of settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards in the field of physical therapy.

Requirements

• 1 Year of Experience
• Valid VA License
• BLSE (Board-Licensed Physical Therapist)

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current licensure to practice in the state of Virginia.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Skills

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems.
